Aceasta este o mancare de vara, colorata, parfumata si lejera. Este o derivatie picanta de la celebra reteta macedoneasca de ardei prajiti.
Ardeii in sos mediteraneean sunt deliciosi ca fel principal vegetarian, dar si ca garnitura langa o friptura la gratar.
Mai intai fierbeti sucul de rosii (ideal e sa fie f gros) cu putin piper, oregano, maghiran, rozmarin si busuioc tocat proaspat. Adaugati si un catel de usturoi macinat.

Apoi taiati ardeii cubulete si caliti-i in ulei de masline. Presarati sare marina peste ei cand ii caliti.

La final, puneti toti ardeii peste sos. Lasati sa fiarba 2-3 minute, la foc mic.

Decorati cu masline si busuioc verde.

Se serveste cu paine rustica (ideala e cea integrala cu masline). Stropiti cu putin ulei de masline extravirgin exact inainte de momentul servirii, pentru un plus de savoare mediteraneeana.
